Volunteer for Madison Nonprofit Day

Madison Nonprofit Day is looking for volunteers. The 2nd Annual Nonprofit Day is scheduled for Thursday, 5 August 2010 and offers plenty of opportunities for your skills and expertise.

We will be hosting three Volunteer & Community Engagement meetings, for volunteers and organizers. These will be introductory 1hr sessions to quickly get you up to speed on the goals for the 2010 Nonprofit Day, introduce you to other volunteers, and to create volunteer committees and workgroups as needed.

The first meeting date is:

• Thursday, 11 March 2010 at 3pm

You only need to attend one session, or you can also fill out the online volunteer application at:

This is the second year putting on Madison Nonprofit Day— a day to celebrate, learn, and connect with nonprofits in the Greater Madison Area. One of the lessons we learned from our successful first effort is: Volunteers Are Our Lifeblood.

Madison Nonprofit Day depends on the hard work of individuals, like yourself, for our success. Organizing and Day-of-Event volunteers help make the day a wonderful experience for all those involved. We are hoping to recruit between 25 to 50 volunteers to make the 2010 Madison Nonprofit Day, the most successful day of events and activities to date.

So select a date, mark your calendar, or sign-up online; and get ready for Madison Nonprofit Day 2010.
